Shelby has been in the hair industry for 11 years. She is a certified Deva stylist – specializing in curly & textured hair. She also leans her speciality towards dimensional brunettes, grey blending & edgy razor cuts. Beyond the services she offers behind the chair, Shelby’s mission is to make her clients always feel heard, confident & relaxed at their appointments.

Shelby loves spending time with her husband, 2 daughters & 3 dogs outside of salon life. Reading, dry (& occasionally inappropriate) humor, audio books, over sharing, hiking, camping, wineries & iced coffee are some of her favorite things.

Lindsey has been behind the chair for 13 years, specializing in dimensional highlights, grey coverage, lived-in color, low-maintenance cuts, layering, and barbering—plus fun pops of fashion color when you’re ready to switch it up. ✨

She’s your mom-next-door stylist who listens first, works with your lifestyle and maintenance level, and loves making women, men, and kids feel confident and cared for in her chair. When she’s not at the salon, she’s juggling mom life, spending time with family, hanging at the bowling alley bowling in league, or cheering on her husband at the racetrack. She also loves traveling and spending time outdoors.

Stylist & Colorist

Kristen has lived in Bloomington for 20+ years, graduating from Indiana University in 2016 from the School of Public Health. She really discovered her love for hair & beauty during her time at IU.

She been in the hair industry for a little over a year, recently graduating from Paul Mitchell Indianapolis. Her passion behind the chair is color, but the goal with any service is to make sure her client leaves feeling as confident and beautiful as possible.

Kristen is a Bellami Certified Stylist, offering volume and hand-tied wefts, k-tip, i-tip, and tape-in installations. She is also K18REPAIR Certified.

When she’s not behind the chair, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband and their pets, hanging out with friends, planning her next trip to visit her family, and playing softball.

Owner, Stylist + Colorist

Ali has been behind the chair for 15 years, and my passion is creating beautiful, natural-looking color—whether that’s blondes, balayage, lived-in color, enhancing brunettes, gray coverage/blending, or creative highlighting techniques that bring your hair to life.

I’m driven by making people feel beautiful, listened to, and genuinely cared for. Beyond doing hair, I’ve always dreamed of building a calm, relaxed, and safe space where stylists can grow, feel supported, and thrive—and Maven became exactly that!

Outside the salon, you’ll usually find me with my two Pomeranians (Millie and Brownie), spending time with my husband or friends, shopping, diving into books and audiobooks, reading Reddit threads about whatever I’m watching, or taking road trips—especially ones tied to car culture.

Okay that last part is definitely influenced by my husband 🤭
